Its called playing the system. But its the system the current politicians put in place. He was playing the game by the rules they made. Its funny that all the politicians loved to have photo ops with him and they thought he was a great guy till he threatened the status quo. I am no fan of trump but most of this stuff is media hype and sucking up to Clinton. I actually see her as worse than Trump if that's possible. Filing for bankruptcy has a lot of consequences, because you basically don't pay what you owe anymore. That's not a business model. And certainly not from someone claiming to put the workers first. Please read www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/statements/2015/sep/21/carly-fiorina/trumps-four-bankruptcies/

"You know, there are a lot of us Americans who believe that we are going to have trouble someday paying back the interest on our debt because politicians have run up mountains of debt using other people's money," Fiorina said. "That is in fact precisely the way you ran your casinos. You ran up mountains of debt, as well as losses, using other people's money, and you were forced to file for bankruptcy not once, not twice, four times." "You ran up mountains of debt, as well as losses, using other people's money" Trump, if he quacks like a duck...he's a politician ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

Gallito... Friona that is funny, as a CEO she tanks her company, 10s of thousand of her employees lose their jobs and the company pays her off with a Golden Parachute to resign.

Actually, if you know AC, you know that most casinos there have or are closing. The place is dying. Indian casinos nearer to population centers in the North East, and you don't have to go to that dump called Atlantic City (think Detroit, with the Boardwalk). Nobody is making money thers. But little facts like that don't matter. The thing is, while Trump casinos were going bankrupt, the other casinos from AC were still doing good. 4 casinos went belly up in AC this year. Real nice business climate. The place is a dump. Now that there are alternatives, nobody wants to go.

Everybody in Nor Cal hates Fiorina. We all know how she destroyed one of the world's best companies. She is a moron. They gave her $23 million to go away. Thousands lost their jobs here.

Just look up Solindra to see how Obie and Hillary help their friends with OUR money. As for Trump, if you haven't been sued, you have not been in business in the US.

Yes that very article was one of my source. Another source: www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/what-trump-didnt-say-about-his-four-big-business-bankruptcies/2015/08/07/bc054e64-3d12-11e5-9c2d-ed991d848c48_story.html"Trump was exaggerating, experts said, when he said that virtually every business leader has filed bankruptcy. An estimated 5 percent of the 500 biggest U.S. companies have filed for bankruptcy in the past two decades, Georgetown law professor Adam Levitin said."In other words, he's part of the 5% worst businessmen in the USA. "The first Trump-tied bankruptcy, in 1991, was of Trump’s biggest Atlantic City casino, the Trump Taj Mahal, whose $1 billion construction was financed by junk bonds at a staggeringly high interest rate of 14 percent"14 percent... Isn't it crazy to finance an investment with 14 percent interest rate junk bonds? Do you think it is a wise business decision? "In 2004, Trump faced his third corporate bankruptcy, when his Trump Hotels and Casinos Resorts — which controlled the Trump Taj Mahal, Trump Plaza and Trump Marina (formerly Trump’s Castle) casinos in Atlantic City, as well as a riverboat casino in Indiana — was buried underneath $1.8 billion in debt.
To help secure lower interest rates and a $500 million credit line, Trump agreed to shrink his stake in the company from 47 percent to about 27 percent."
"In 2009, Trump Entertainment Resorts, formed in the aftermath of the Trump empire’s bankruptcies, itself declared bankruptcy after missing a $53 million bond interest payment. The company, which ran the Trump Plaza and Trump Taj Mahal, was forced into court, scattering investors and sending its $4 share price plunging to about 25 cents.
After a messy, months-long sparring with the company’s board of directors on how to reshape the company and repay the debt, Trump resigned as chairman and left with a reduced corporate stake of about 10 percent, which allowed the company to use his name in licensing. "In other words, he HAD to shrink his stake, and even resign from his chairman position. The story that he's just putting his name and do nothing is his present situation, but in these times, as chairman of his company, he was actively involved in running (and making fail) his business. Strangely, since 2009, his company hasn't filed for bankruptcy. Maybe that's because he's not running his business anymore.

For a such lousy businessman he seems pretty rich, even if he is exagerating about his wealth. You should be so lousy, you might end up with a penthouse in Trump Towers and a couple dozen golf clubs yourself. Although, I agree, taking hundreds of millions of dollars in bribes from whoever needed a "fix", makes Hillary the better "business person".

The polls show that Trump is losing badly at this point: projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2016-election-forecast/We'll see if Trump keeps putting his foot in his mouth and the impact on the polls. 30 days after the conventions the polls historically have done a good job at predicting who wins the popular vote in the past several elections. This would be in only 18 days on August 28. This election to me this year appears be "better the devil you know than the devil you don't know". Or maybe Trump thinks he can lull Clinton into a false sense of security. Let her lead by 9 percentage points in August. Then after Labor Day, turn on his master persuader skills... It will be interesting to see how this shakes out.

did anyone see the report this morning that WikiLeaks is offering a $20,000 reward. A top official at the DNC was just murdered and because WikiLeaks offered the reward for help in finding the murderer, people are speculating he was the real leakier of the emails.
If the leaks came from in the DNC and he was murdered that would be a hot trail. I also saw another video of damning information just discovered in the leaked emails.

Also the 'quid pro quo' from the State Dept. to the 'Clinton Foundation'!!!! This is what really sums it all up about Trump. Our local 'fish wrapper' has a section called, '30 seconds'. You can call or write in, (a predetermined amount of words) that equal 30 seconds of time and it gets printed in its own little section. One of the more typical calls is where the person says, ".....What Trump says is often crass and rude. But he is not a politician! And that is why I am voting for him!" This gets repeated every day, not the same words but the effect is the same. Also, this guy has beat the polls at every turn. I'm looking for the 'closet electorate' to get polled!

Even the Secret Service got a "talk" with D. Trump after is insane comment about the "2nd amendment people". It's not being liberal, it's about human decency. No, sorry, it's about democracy. You just cannot, in a democratic country, and I believe the USA is probably the best democracy out there, you cannot even joke about the assassination of your political opponent. You're not in an African country! There is no doubt about what he meant. If you look at the crowd during his speech, some are laughing at the "joke", others are just left incredulous. People got the message.
And all this crap about him being a straight shooter. Look at him. He joked about getting H. Clinton killed, and then cannot stand for his words. He has to make the biggest lie about the NRA being a political force. That's what he said: "If she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the second amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what, that will be a horrible day."
OK, so he's mentioning picking up judges, something she would do AFTER she get elected. So it's not, as he tried to explain later, about "2nd amendment people" (btw what an insult for sensible people in favor of the 2nd amendment to be included in this farce) massively voting against Hillary, it's about, and this will be "a horrible day", to get rid of H. Clinton, or the newly appointed judges. This horrible day comment of course hit the nail down. Because if he was talking about a political action, why would it be a horrible day?
I'll tell you what, guys, I am, by American Standards, what would be a moderate republican. Not a Fox News Republican but still. D. Trump is hurting the republican party more than you can imagine. He's actually hurting democracy so bad. This man is a danger for democracy. If you're fed up by the political bipolar system, vote for independents. This thread started with these alternatives, like the Libertarians. These are valid alternatives. But D. Trump, please. This is not even more a joke. This is a dangerous threat to US democracy and the US as a whole.

The father of the Pulse gay nightclub, in Orlando, shooter is on stage at a Shillary rally in Florida. Steve, what do your liberal sources say about that? I believe the DNC staff made a HUGE mistake admitting this person, but he's nevertheless only the father of the murderer. This person apologized for that has done his son. He's NOT his son. They are two distinct persons, you do realize that, don't you?

Oh wait, no he didn't? First presidential candidate refusing to release it since 30 years or so. You know why? Because tax wise, he's so poor. Probably much poorer than he really is. About his real fortune, serious media evaluate it to a 40% of what he's bragging he has. And anyway, when you father leaves you 30 to 40 millions (not 1 as he likes to say), well, that's already a good kickstart right. And what's even funnier, his business performed worse than the stock exchange. In other words, if Trump would simply have invested his money in index funds, he would be richer today. What a businessman. www.washingtonpost.com/news/fact-checker/wp/2016/03/03/trumps-false-claim-he-built-his-empire-with-a-small-loan-from-his-father/www.moneytalksnews.com/why-youre-probably-better-investing-than-donald-trump/

I myself think Trump is missing a way to totally silence anyone asking about his taxes. All he simply has to say is he will release his tax returns when Hillary releases her unedited speeches transcripts to Goldman Sachs.
Burnie was pushing that and the media ran with it, but all is silent from the media now that its Trump and Hillary.

Your sources? Jaja. What do they know anyway, post some proof. Even if true, he is still worth $5 billion. Much much more than financial wizzes such as yourself. And even if his Dad had left him $40 million, which is not true, he still made $10 billion on his own. Most kids whose father leave them $1 million or $40 million, usually burn through it in a few years, not increase their inheritance by a factor 10,000. Not bad for such a lousy business man. Again, you are right, taking bribes from murdurous dictators and Wall st cheats, like the Clintons do, is a much more profitable business model.

Bernie sold out and endorsed a women who stands for everything he said he was againt. Talk about the 1%, he just bought his 3rd house, a $600,000 beach house. Probably paid for by the Clinton Foundation in payment for the endorsement. And the liberal dopes idolize these people.
