Here is an interesting take on combating the coronvirus. Does it work? Just sounds to simple a solution to me. The rest of the world would have poun upced on it by now. Interesting thoughts though. Lots of theories out there that the virus will diminish this coming summer and will return with a vengeance by fall. But by then we hopefully have a remedy. This theory is BS. The heat will not reach your lungs to raise the temperature in your lungs..if your lungs got hot enough to kill the virus it would kill you first..

Damn, I just saw your video scum, too bad I missed it, walked right into that one and could have saved myself a post. But I will leave it up, purely for entertainment. It shows how much misinformation and pure speculation is out there. This Osterholm guy is a very smart man. Never heard of him before. Good you found this video.
BTW, I told the wife last night this scourge won't be over soon, it will go on until a vaccine is discovered.
Duque's Isolation process until April 13 isn't going to do it.

Coca Cola too is a powerful household remedy and may even kill the virus.

Correction: The coronavirus claimed it's first victim in Colombia, a 58 year old Cartagena taxi driver. Another Cooombian died. My wife's friend is one of the dr's that treated the taxi driver. He too has been infected with coronavirus. What they had to go through to get tested is disgraceful. That's a dr let alone your average punter. If your vunerable, have an underlying health issue, aren't rich then I would bunker down until there is a vaccine.

3rd corona death in Colombia, an 88 year old Colombian from Santa Marta who had frequent contact with European tourists from Europe.
The Cartagena taxi driver transported Italian Tourists it says
Damned tourists, without them we wouldn't have a single case of the virus in Colombia. And no 'toque de queda' (curfew) or 'aislamiento' (Isolation) until April 13
Remember folks, all persons over 70 are not to leave their homes until May or better yet wait for a vaccination like ozgringo suggested

Trump with a strong hint that he's going to let the US people take their chances with the virus in 2 weeks time:
"WE CANNOT LET THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE PROBLEM ITSELF. AT THE END OF THE 15 DAY PERIOD, WE WILL MAKE A DECISION AS TO WHICH WAY WE WANT TO GO!"
And he re-tweeted this:
"15 days. Then we isolate the high risk groups and the rest of us get back to work before it’s all over for everyone!! #Landslide2020"

All you need is one case to exist after you lift quarantine and it will start all over again. Rather than lock down the whole country, lock down just the high risk groups and let it run its course. One way or another its going to do that anyway. We will get a steady stream of cases for many months or we can get the majority of people infected within several months and it will burn its self out. I cant imaging this quarantine here in Ecuador going on much longer. The poor will begin to starve soon if they cant work.

But, give me a few more weeks of the current situation, then I could be easily persuaded to go along with this. And yes, you are totally right. What if when we end lockdown, the virus appears again (which it will). Do we go into lockdown again?

378 cases in Colombia as of today, 6 recovered, no new deaths, still 3. 236 cases are imported, 119 are related, 23 are still being studied. Most known! cases are in: Bogotá 120, Cali 66, Medellín 52, Cartagena 21, Pereira 17, Neiva (Huila) 14, Cúcuta 11
The number of unreported cases is left to the readers imagination.

A French women in Cartagena who returned to her home was harassed daily by the neighbours until the police escorted her away to be tested. After she returned a negative result they left her alone.
One of the first cases of Coronavirus in Cartagena, Colombian women was forced to leave her house due to pressure from the neighbours and landlord.
My wife's cousin is currently in hospital where some Coronavirus patients are and isn't allowed any visitors and will have to self isolate for 14 days when she is discharged. She hasn't been tested for coronavirus and was admitted with an eye issue none the less being treated in isolation and medical staff wearing complete PPE which shows the concern the medical staff have. The whole hospital is in complete lockdown.
There is a supermarket next door to the hospital and they aren't letting anyone who works for the hospital to enter.

Yeah, ICU stations will soon be overwhelmed in these epic centers and decisions have to be made who to turn away.
In Spain the decision has been made already, no one over 75 will be admitted to the ICU to be connected to lifesaving breathing equipment, so they are either left to die or to eventually recover, depending on the impairment of their immune system and the severity of their heart and lung problems and if they were smokers or not.
Italy is gradually lowering these age groups also who will receive help and the critical cases, of whom all require intensive care with breathing apparatus, almost 3500 such cases in the last 24 hours, keep increasing.
As of a week ago more than 2600 Italian healthcare workers have also been infected and needed to be taken out of circulation, 8% of the total infected.
Italy's corona deaths since yesterday were 683, those of Spain 656 with 3166 in ICU, there is no relief in sight.

A young Colombian man from Popayán who had moved to Madrid has died of the virus.
Corona deaths in Spain have now succeed those of China.
Not sure if he is the one who has been counted as the 4th corona death in Colombia.
