Looking online and getting mixed signals about beef jerky.
Grandkid wants me to bring her some back from the US, but it appears maybe not allowed as it is a meat product?
The pretzels seem pretty straight forward as okay.
Anyone know? Thanks, be well!

The worst that will happen is there will confiscate them. Stick them in your checked bag.

Yeah, TSA may be looking through your bags and say, "Beef jerky time!"

On my way out right before boarding the United flight, they have what I guess are Colombia's version of TSA hand checking everyone's carry on.
No drama, but they confiscated a bag of coffee I was bringing to a buddy. The issue, the bag was 500 grams. Apparently the limit is something like 350 grams, who knew.
My juvenile side considered innocently taking the coffee and tearing it open so I could dump it in the trash can where folks had to dump their water bottles they bought...if I can't have the coffee, no one gets the coffee! I didn't, I just gave her a dumbfounded shoulder shrug and boarded.
I also never knew you couldn't bring water you bought in the secure side of the terminal onto the plane either.
Once I landed in Houston, again TSA was being more annoying than usual and I got pulled aside for additional bag check, it appears the pack of baby wipes looked suspicious.
TSA guy apologized and related the extra security was due to Hamas making noise.
So if you are planning to travel, just know, no larger bags of coffee and that baby wipes will get you pulled off to the side. Be well!
