My friend Sai would always say, "If you think you have seen it all today, wait until tomorrow!" I shot this while watching the news. It was from Barranquilla. You can't make this stuff up. Only in Colombia! Attachments:

Once again, only in Colombia. I wish I could find the video feed for it. This morning I was watching 'Mañana Express' on RCN when they showed these 2 hombres riding a moto that apparently caught on fire. The guy pulls off to the side and his passenger 'whips it out' and begins to piss on the fire!!!! They didn't show whether it went out all together but I was caught totally off guard and laughed my ass off when I realized what was going on!!! You just can't make this stuff up!

Definitely NOT only in Colombia. I have seen pigs, goats and calves being carried on a moto several times when I lived in the Dominican Republic where they have the highest traffic fatality rate in the world. You haven't seen crazy chit being carried on a moto until you've spent time in that hell hole.

Used to see this a bunch in Afghanistan as well. Pretty amazing how much stuff one can fit on a small motorbike. Most I ever saw was a family of 6, granted two of the kids were babies traveling on a little moto.
Being an American, it has always been bigger was better. My friends from back home are asking how it is possible to travel two up on my little 125. Mrs Daluz and I did do a trip from Neiva to San Agustin on the moto. Was actually pretty fun. Suppose to be a five hour trip, but took us 8 as we stopped every hour or so for coffee and to stretch our legs. Not too sure I'd do it again as I'm getting older and enjoy being a bit more comfortable, but were happy for the experience.
Good side of frequent travel, I now live with a bunch less junk and do not miss it.
Be well!
