He seems to conveniently forget that fellow from Utah who was incarcerated unjustly.

Well WS, Drew Goldman (his real name) from Arizona traveled to every country in the world, almost 200 of them before he turned 30. He may have his head full of politics and impressions he had to work through and should be excused for that omission I think.

would love to see this idiot walk around Caracas alone for about 3 hours lol He is adventurous and has more balls than you or I, but he is not an Idiot. He is not going to go there alone. Mos Americans would say the same about you for living Colombia, so dont be so judgemental. Actually a very good documentary and story. Visiting a place I woud like to return to but dare not. It is like living vicariously through someone elses experience. Also, it is interesting to find out what everything really costs there, and issues with the police, etc. Find it amazing it only took 5 weeks to get a Visa (despite begging and constanty negotiating face to face with the embassy), whereas it is 6 months for Venezuelans to get a pssport in their own country (Though Colombia and Canada have the same time frame now a days). When I had Chevron arranging my work Visa in 2008, it took at least 5 weeks, if not longer.

Actually there are direct flights with Copa From Panama to both Valencia nad Caracas, but extremely expensive. About the same as flying to Asia from Panama.
Supposedly there were supposed to be a bunch of floights from Bogoat to Venezuela with various airlines, but never happened. Not enough kick backes to the Venezuelan authorities, I guess (unlike the Copa Panama flight, where most of your ticket cost goes to Maduro and the Chavistas)

These are great Documentaries Vikingo! Thanks for digging them up.
This type of thing , and some of Scumbags informative posts, is the reason why this site is so good. To hell with the Woke snowflakes who cant handle the Red Neck vibe on here.

I aint stupid enough to go there now. I have been in wild and remote areas of Colombia, with guerillas following us around, Paracos holding us up at gunpoint, negoitiating and being threatened by fanatical Kogi ndians, but I am not dumb enough to go alone, without local contacts. Nobody is, including Colombians, except maybe James Bond in the movies. I have worked and lived in Russia and Venezuela before, and have travelled to China. But I am not stupid enough to visit any of these places now. There is a difference between being adventurous and being stupid. The guy enjoys travelling to remote and dangerous areas most people dont have the courage or desire to visit. If he makes money off of it, good for him, a good side benefit,
