Great video. For all the problems in Colombia I wouldn't live anywhere else.

Yes,it's a good promo video - short and sweet.
Last night I watched Magia Salvage - great nature flick with a massage aimed at protecting Colombias environmental diversity.

"Last night I watched Magia Salvage - great nature flick with a massage..."
What theater was this? Did the movie have a "Happy Ending"?

Colombia still has a long way to go before it becomes a mainstream tourist destination like some of its Latin American neighbors (Costa Rica, Mexico, etc.) But I believe it is a destination that appeals to non-mainstream type tourists (like myself). It is a beautifully diverse country... a veritable quilt work of different cultures and ethnicities.

I agree, potentially it could be one of the most visited countries on the planet - unfortunately the small minority here will see to it that it never is.

I'd be interested to hear your take on this.

The small minority I refer to are the people that shut down large parts of the country last weekend without any resistance, and have twice as many drug labs as this time last year. These people are not really that interested in eco tourism.

These people are not really that interested in eco tourism. From that perspective, I'd agree with you.

Yes, sorry maybe I wasn't clear, there are a lot of good people here, and a lot of bad - including a minority who have no interest whatsoever in serving fried chicken for 1,800 COP per month - to them it's like giving up their lucrative businesses and joining the struggling classes, ironically the very people they say they are fighting for.
The near future is going to be very interesting to say the least.
