The US markets were crushed on the open as oil fell to a new 12 year low well below 30 I can't see much of a rally into a long weekend no trading Monday and the news that Iran will release more Oil on the market next week. It looks like a sell everything and wait into a long holiday weekend. The Peso now back to 3300 and could make a new low Monday or Tuesday if Iran releases more oil than thought

Yeah, I saw that. Just waiting for a bottom. I have been looking at the weekly max chart for SPY and the last top looked very much like the other two with the up being double afterward. Maybe down to 150 or 130ish? as a correction? Just a thought.

I don't see much below 1800 if it gets there and at this point I hope it does as much technical damage as possible before we bounce

Sure,go ahead and laugh at the world and count your blessings while the less fortunate grobble for something to eat. I had to look up "grobble".
grobble
Any smokin' hot chick or chicks. Originated from "robble grobble," the incoherent shouting sounds made during crowd or mob scenes in the television show South Park. An effective phrase to use when trying to look busy working while checking out chicks from your office window. Shortened to "grobble" to more easily indicate that a hot girl is approaching and interested men should take heed.
Look to your right, there is some smokin' grobble over there. Hot damn!
www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=grobble
gallito a very artistic use of the word!
..........or maybe you have been speaking too much Spanish and now you are getting your 'b's and your 'v's mixed up?

Sure,go ahead and laugh at the world and count your blessings while the less fortunate grobble for something to eat. I'm not laughing at the world If this comment was meant for me ? I call it like I see it I lost a ton of cash the past few weeks I'd be happy if oil was 70 or 90 as for the peso I don't care that much either It makes my visits 1 or 2 times a year cheaper but not really a big deal either way. A strong dollar actually makes living in the US more expensive I'd much prefer to pay up a little for a trip to mexico or Colombia and live cheap in the US. As for South America it's in a recession and likely to stay that way for years to come. Colombia was getting 20% of it's cash from Oil a few years ago in 2016 it is expected to be 1 % I don't see how they can make it up. Brasil Argentina Mexico Russia Canada all enjoyed a nice run with oil it's over for now As for the Hungry around the world I'm worried about the Hungry in the US Im tired of seeing Hollywood types raise money for Foreign Country's and the US send my tax dollars around I'd much prefer not to see People living on the streets in the US.

Tourism will be the salvation;both Canada and Colombia will benefit from the strong U$ and sooner or later your economy will tank like the rest of the world.

Tourism will never save Colombia never. As for the US economy sinking it will recover fast when the rest of the bottom feeders sink they stay sunk for long periods. If the US sinks god help the rest of the World China included.

The sanctions against Iran have been lifted today. Iran will flood the market with oil starting tomorrow. They screwed around so long negotiating it cost them hundreds of billions. Could have been selling at $120+ a barrel. Look at the market now... Selling at the bottom... lol Couldn't have happened to better people..

I have an Iranian woman in my Facebook, excellent person, she speaks several languages and is fluent in two besides arabic. She warned me not to mention politics on FB messenger as she could be monitored. In my opinion, Persians are smarter than Arabs, generally speaking.

Lot's of history: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IranThose were the days lol "In 1219–21 the Khwarezmian Empire suffered a devastating invasion by the Mongol army of Genghis Khan. According to Steven R. Ward, "Mongol violence and depredations killed up to three-fourths of the population of the Iranian Plateau, possibly 10 to 15 million people" I almost went snowboarding in Iran, but the country became a little unstable again, so I went to Colombia instead! www.worldsnowboardguide.com/resorts/iran/dizin/With the sanctions lifted and upcoming foreign investment it might be a country I consider visiting again.
