I do this about once a week but the other six I eat breakfast and then supper. Maybe a few nuts and fruits, but smoothies are a must, and specially here in PR.

It seems like a main benefit is getting your insulin at baseline for an extended period. From what I read it takes 8 to 12 hours of not eating to do that. So sleep is the easiest part of that. If you eat breakfast you are just getting to the point of baseline and then eating. I have been trying to skip breakfast (only black coffee), I have been successful in skipping breakfast about 3/4 of the time and try to have as late a lunch as I can.

I used to do that in Italy where breakfast was just a black expresso coffee.
Quite the opposite of the English fried excess!
