Colombia soccer chief resigns amid FIFA corruption probe.
The top boss of Colombia’s soccer federation announced his resignation on Monday amid accusations he received bribes in an elaborate FIFA corruption scheme.
Luis Bedoya, director of the Colombian soccer federation FCF, said to resign over “personal reasons.”
However, the soccer boss is one of multiple Latin American soccer chiefs implicated in a global corruption scandal at world soccer federation FIFA.
According to revelations made as the FIFA corruption scandal unfolded, all directors of South American soccer federations received $1.5 million in bribes through the South American Soccer Federation.

He said he quit for personal reasons. I suppose working out how to disappear with 1.5 million dollars could be considered a 'personal reason'.
