Excessive taxes. Both for corporations foreign or domestic and personal taxes way to high.

I saw that also, but then I keep reading the average wage in Cuba is $12 a month, so......... I have to question that article.

Absolutely right, this article I posted is totally wrong, even though the average income for Cubans has gone up to US$ 25 a month since 2005. Here is a Wikipedia report about worldwide minimum wages listed under: Hourly Nominal (US$) that seems to be somewhat more accurate: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_minimum_wages_by_country
