Waiting on a bench outside one of the thousands of shops in el Hueco , wife was shopping and I was the pack mule , the local street boracho had a bottle of rubbing alcohol that he was mixing with orange soda - I should strap a go pro on my head and just walk around Centro on a Friday, I could sell it as an adventure reality series, it always more entertaing than what I see on TV

Friday night at Dulce Jesus Mio ( las Palmas)would have been a good episode, packed house, midgets ,cross dressers, regatone duo, venato group, clowns, prepagos (with their clients), they even handed out Colombian flags and played the national anthem, went with a group of friends, interesting time.
Saw the most stunning Colombiana ever, if it is possible for there to be a 12, she was it, In table in front of us had a Mexican dude with what my wife said was a working girl, questioned her why she thought that? I guess I missed it but wife said when the guy went to the restroom the chick was striking a business deal with a guy at the next table.
But the crowd was mostly groups having a good time, fun place, not too expensive , not somewhere I would go often but once or twice a year for something different

As you say, Dulce Jesus Mio is a great place to go with a group of friends, but not too frequently. You need to be in the mood for the sort of fun that you wont find anywhere else. It is worth visiting just to see the toilets!
