Olaya Herrera airport in Medellin and Jose Maria Cordova Rionegro were closed during the early hours of Saturday, on account of weather conditions. The situation forced VivaColombia to cancel two flights and caused delays in at least 30 flights over different airlines. In the Jose Maria Cordova closure began at 6:05 a.m., because the visibility was poor. At 7:30 a.m. air operations they resumed although with some restrictions, reported the Civil Aeronautics (Aerocivil). In the Olaya Herrera, meanwhile, operations were restored at 7:00 a.m. See: www.elcolombiano.com/antioquia/clima-retraso-operacion-aerea-y-demoro-vuelos-en-rionegro-y-medellin-BI5309407
