You can catch bigger waves near Nuqui,Chocó...if the timing is right.

Choco doesn't do it for me. I had one cousin kidnapped there on an ultralight tour with 6 friends. And another crashed his plane flying back from fishing in Bahia Solano on the way back to Pereira. Hit a pico shrouded in fog tht was not on the charts.

Fishing should be spectacular around Bahia Solano,reports state "world class." Sports fishing doesn't appear to be popular draw with Colombians,well with the exception of billy.
Colombia's pac coast doesn't have a good tourist infrastructure;airport has its issues...whale watching tends to be the biggest draw.Much of its isolated coastline is a red zone.
