My wife uses Uber a lot in Bogotá and a couple of hours ago she was offered two free rides by Uber to go out and vote. Looks like the government are going all out to ensure they get the necessary 13% of the population voting yes on Sunday.
It was only three weeks ago that Santos was saying that Uber will be out of the country within weeks - wonder what deal has been struck behind the scenes?

I received the same email this afternoon.
"Looks like the government are going all out to ensure they get the necessary 13% of the population voting yes on Sunday" Given the relations between the Colombian Govt and Uber, not sure there has been any collaboration here. It's just pure Uber marketing like they are used to do.
