Not everyone's idea of a holiday......but certainly a HUGE adventure:
First Trans Amazonian Challenge completed! The first adventurous group of "TRANS AMAZONIANS" graduated in September when MotoDiscovery and Motolombia together took a group of riders though 7 countries from Cartagena in Colombia to Georgetown in Guyana crossing the iconic Trans Amazonian Highway, coast to coast, covering 11,000 km in 45 days. Riders could after end trip tick off Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, French Guiana, Suriname and Guyana on their bucket list and a few of the worlds most incredible destinations including Machu Picchu and Kaieteur Water Falls. If you are up for a CHALLENGE next year, do not hesitate and start the sign up process right here. www.motolombia.com/…/colombia-ecuador-peru-brazil-f…/

For me a real challenge would be to walk it. I got to do a long one one day. @buffalo it is quite a walk 11,000 klm. If you could maintain 5 klm per hour for 8 hours each day (e.g. 8-12 rest, 2-6) you would cover 40 klm per day and it would only take 275 days in total. If you want to take it easy and take time out to rest and for other activities you could do it easy in a year!
Don't forget to take lots of photos to post on the forum!
