Not only are they going hungry but now they won't be able to protect themselves or their families. Maduro is now confiscating their arms. Attachments:

In our part of the country one takes an 8 hour course for a concealed carry permit-- Which is a joke--takes more than an 8 hour course to ingrain common sense to go with it-- I see many women in gun shops buying semi-autos If anyone ever watches a women digging through her purse looking for something--( right--these same are in the military) Women should carry a double action revolver as in a .38--it is simple--and requires one hand-- To have a round in the chamber on an auto in a purse etc is dangerous-- A little different in the military where one is taught protocol depending on the situation----but then again-- there are even fools there--- (hell i did not know there was a round in the chamber) Goes for M-16's etc. as well--

Many, many years ago when I was in the US (California, mid 70's),I was staying with some friends and grandma was getting ready to take the two young daughters on a day-trip to Disneyland.
My friend told me that his mother-in-law had two .22 handguns in her handbag. I asked the 'little old lady', "Why do you need two guns?" She said, "They are cheap Saturday Nite Specials and sometimes they don't work ....... so I always carry a spare."

Was wondering if it's worthwhile to go through the paperwork to obtain a gun in Colombia?

Was wondering if it's worthwhile to go through the paperwork to obtain a gun in Colombia? Not at this time, the laws are real screwy since Santos jumped on too new gun laws. FYI..... For me to get a permit and gun. 1 I have to go to Bogota do all the paper work and requirements then buy a gun from a Federal Goverment controlled arms dealer. A) Problem is I cant carry the gun in Bogota to get it to my home in another town.Bogotas gun law is no guns for any reason. B) I now cant carry in my Car but can own for my home protection.I just cant legally buy a gun and get it home with out the chance of being stopped searched and arrested .Santos Federal law.
