So it seems that every time that i mail a letter through Envico that my letters are always opened before arriving to final distination. I talked with Envico and they are stating that they do not open the letters. I assume then, that TSA in the U.S. is opening. Is anyone else having this problem?

I worked at a place once where I had some personal mail sent to me. Some of it had been opened occasionally. I called the post office and bitched. They informed me that once it is delivered to the building, it does not fall under the jurisdiction of federal law. Meaning that whoever handled the mail in the building could legally open it. If you know someone that is going to the states, ask them to drop your mail in a post box when they arrive. Make sure the postage is on the envelope. Avianca has a service where they will send mail for you to the states. Due to new regulations, they will not deliver any checks and you will have to show them the contents before you put it into the envelope. Big brother is watching.
