Apart from Dutch guerrilla Tanja Nijmeijer, the FARC has a second European member in arms, French public radio station RFI reported Monday. According to Radio France Internationale (RFI), the French women is part of the guerrillas’ 57th Front, an important unit for the FARC’s drug trafficking business that is active near the Panamanian border. “Natalie Mistral” would be the second European member of the FARC after the military found evidence of the existence of a Dutch guerrilla member in 2007. Nijmeijer has since become a member of the FARC’s peace negotiation team in Cuba, Havana and has been responsible for international press relations since talks began in 2012. According to RFI, the French guerrilla joined the FARC to “live the revolution” in Colombia where the FARC until last week has been engaged in a bitter armed conflict with the state for more than 50 years. The group, now upholding a bilateral ceasefire, is expected to sign peace within months. The French citizen reportedly hopes to stay in Colombia if a peace deal is reached. colombiareports.com/french-citizen-also-member-farc-report/

Agree with Makopp5. Since the FARC is recognized as a terrorist organization, it could well happen.

Well she isn't in Colombia legally, even if at one point she came legally. I would think at a minimum she would be deported and the French would then decide how to handle it.

You presumably think the Colombian members of FARC only targeted other Colombians? Once you start bombing and kidnapping indiscriminately, regardless of nationality, then it is the business of other nations. Once you transport drugs to other countries then it becomes the business of other nations.
As usual Colombians think the problems in Colombia are somehow caused by foreigners, like the cries you made earlier that somehow only foreigners were pedalling children in Colombia.
I've got news for you, sit down, this may be difficult for you and the other Colombians on here to take, but...The problems in Colombia, all the shit that holds this country back from joining the civilised world are 99.99999% caused by Colombians.
Sorry if that's difficult to comprehend but it's a cold hard fact, and here's another hard fact, 99.9999% of the foreigners in Colombia contribute massively to the improvements in Colombia.

I don't have all the details , but a few years ago another Dutch female member of the F was vaporized when a 500 lb bomb destroyed a bunker. Some big wig of that organization suffered the same fate.
