No surprises;Colombia is falling back to it's old ways, robbing tourists and anyone who let's their guard down. The southern routes were always bad;especially the Pitalito - San Agustin;the bus drivers would warn passengers to watch their stuff. The bus going to Cali was bad too.The buses which stopped along the way to pick up passengers are the worst.

I've heard the same. I used to take the night bus along the Pasto to Cali route and have no problem getting off in the middle of the night to stop at one of the road side restaurants along the way. Not so sure I'd do that now. When my wife goes to visit I make sure she flies into Bogota and then gets a plane to Cali or Pasto these days.
