Hi all. I love this section! I am all smiles from ear to ear. I am mildly autistic, and there is a history of cancer in my family, and CBD really helps me a lot (as medicine). However, I like THC also (and find it helps some other things). I am still working on a visa for Colombia (so I can ship my things), but I hope to be there as soon as I can arrange it. Is this an appropriate place to talk about breeding and crossing strains?
Personally, I eat my cannabis (as I much prefer the sustained body lift, and there is no impact on the lungs). Because of that, I am thinking of growing seeded (con semilla). It probably won't be as strong, but the seeds are nutritious, and then I don't have to buy seeds (unless I want to try something different, which I probably will, at least from time to time).
So my question is, if there is a strain that I really like that is all THC, and they only offer it feminized (and don't offer a CBD version), would it potentially work to put a couple of females in with a high-CBD strain male? And would I then just plant some of the seeds (19 at a time, max?), and see how they turn out? Or is it more complicated than that? (And are there any legal issues with that?)
For practical reasons I will probably grow them indoors under LEDs in fabric pots, with max 'nuted organic soil. (I will have to wait until I get there to see what kinds of organic nutrients and soil amendments I can find). Historically I like to let them get tall before I turn them over, so 19 plants would last me for a very long time (years, unless I turn them over early, which I probably won't). So, probably 5 or 6 plants would last me all year, and that is with wake-and-bake. Does anyone have any comments, tips, pointers, or suggestions? Thanks much!

I haven't tried to pollinate a fem plant, but I don't see why you couldn't. I have pollinated a white widow female with a blueberry male. Both were regular seeds. Got over 1000 good quality seeds from one plant. You will not find much growing stuff specific to cannabis in Colombia. I haven't seen any cannabis specific nutrients. Your best bet may be Amazon for cannabis grow stuff. Some Amazon items get shipped free to your door in Colombia right from Amazon with a $35 order. But it doesn't include all the items. Some have import tax and some don't. You will not know till you go to checkout to see what the shipping cost and tax is and then you can pick and choose what's worth buying this way. As for your shipping things to Colombia. I would say maybe send some boxes, but a shipping container costs way to much from what I have heard. You can buy most things in Colombia new from what a container would cost. I just brought things in suitcases over time. Some airlines you can take up to 6 suitcases and although its somewhat pricy to send that many suitcases its still far cheaper than a shipping container. I also use a drop shipper in Florida for stuff that will not ship to Colombia at a reasonable price. EBay, Amazin, Walmart. Any delivery. www.facebook.com/SV-Services-530426990458001 Just have your stuff delivered there and they will repackage and consolidate into one box and ship to your door.
