Very nice. The author of the article arrived shortly after my friend and I left. He did a good job of naming a number of the birds that can be seen and other wildlife.

Has anyone else here visited Hato Altamira,Vereda La Primavera or Finca La Independencia in the Llanos? If you haven't and you are interested in seeing wildlife you should give it a try. The Goliath Birdeater is the only tarantula in South America the size of a dinner plate but it is not found in Colombia.

I have been to the Llanos a number of times to stay with my wife's family. If you like things that crawl, fly or swim you're in the right place.
