The Green Party courting Bernie. Jill Stein, presumptive Green Party nominee, has recently made a public statement promising to step down from her campaign for the nomination if Sanders would be willing to take the nomination during the party’s August convention. In her statement she said: “I’ve invited Bernie to sit down explore collaboration – everything is on the table. If he saw that you can’t have a revolutionary campaign in a counter-revolutionary party, he’d be welcomed to the Green party. He could lead the ticket and build a political movement.” She also left the senator with a warning. “If he continues to declare his full faith in the Democratic party, it will leave many of his supporters very disappointed. That political movement is going to go on – it isn’t going to bury itself in the graveyard alongside Hillary Clinton.” A 4 way race with Bernie in the mix would sure favor Trump. thelibertarianrepublic.com/comeback-bernie-jill-stein-offers-sanders-second-chance-as-green-nominee/A 4 way race with Bernie in the mix would sure favor Trump.

Actually you see 100% of the democrats in lock step, even though the have one of the most corrupt politicians to ever run for office. On the other hand there are a number of Republicans refusing to back Trump. Not that I think that is anything but wanting to keep the status quo in Washington. They are not backing him because he isn't an establishment Republican. But you certainly cant insinuate the republicans are lock step behind Trump

The Republicans not endorsing Trump are actually wanting Hillary to win to keep the status quo. They don't want anything to change. Bush even said he is thinking about endorsing Gary Johnson. But I ony see this on his part trying to draw votes from Trump so Hillary will win.
As Libertarian I would say I didn't want his endorsement because he is more like a liberal democrat than a fiscally conservative libertarian. He is the republican side of the Hillary coin.

Dems like to eat their dead... and now it appears that the Republicans enjoy doing so as well. As a matter of principal, watching the Good Ship Hillary go down by the bow, I would enjoying seeing Sanders run third party. Doubt that I will vote in this election, though.

Bernie sold out. His biggest thing was the fight against Wall Street corruption, then endorses the biggest Wall Street ***** in the history of US politics. We knew his economic policies would be a disaster, but most people still thought he had principles. So much for that.

Doubt that I will vote in this election, though. @vago Vote 3rd party. As long as no statement is made that people will not tolerate this, nothing will change. Libertarian in my opinion is the way to go regardless who the D & R put up. The D & R don't care if only 5% of the population votes as long as 97% are voting for one or the other. I want to see the libertarians win enough to scare the crap out of both of them. The good thing is polling shows that libertarians pull pretty evenly from both parties. Dems. like the live and let live social policies & their fiscally conservative monetary policies (the republicans no longer follow) most Republicans like. To be honest I don't believe hardly anything the green party stands for but I would vote for them just as a protest vote before either of the D & Rs. That or write in a person you think would be a good president. Not voting is playing right into there game. Holding your nose and voting D or R is just what they are counting on.

The game changer could be the presidential debates. If 1 or both of the off brand candidates get in the debates it could really throw the current polling out the window. The presidential debate would probably be the first time that 80% or more of the population even heard of the other candidates. If libertarian or Green party candidates had a really good showing at the debates it would really shuffle the deck.
Both D & R will do everything they can to keep 3rd parties off the stage. That is the only real chance they have.

Agents Believe Backroom Deal Made in Clinton Investigation. According to multiple sources reporting to the New York Post, FBI agents involved in the Clinton email probe were required to sign extensive (and unprecedented) non-disclosure agreements before being allowed to work on the case. This means that they are legally bound from talking about anything they experienced while working on the investigation. This may not seem abnormal or unreasonable, except that it appears to be a measure that has never before been utilized for an individual case. One former FBI chief had this to say when asked about any precedent for this type of NDA: “This is very, very unusual. I’ve never signed one, never circulated one to others.” Another agent, currently on duty, reportedly said that he had, “never heard of such a form,” and concluded that it “sounded strange.” Sources within the FBI also reportedly believe that an inside deal was set up after former-President Bill Clinton’s shady tarmac meeting with Attorney General Loretta Lynch just days before Hillary was to be interviewed by the Bureau. There exists a certain amount of general “disappointment” within the organization concerning the decision not to charge Clinton. The appearance of impropriety and corruption being expressed by these anonymous agents has not been lost on the American people. A recent poll taken by ABC News shows that a healthy majority of people believe that the FBI’s decision not to charge Hillary was wrong (most likely because they also believe she is guilty). This includes 30% of Democrats, which is closely mirrored by the 28% who say this decision by the FBI makes them less likely to support Clinton. Is Hillary Clinton involved in mafia-esque backroom dealings at the highest level of government? Is she above the law? It seems with each passing day, more and more people believe this to be true. thelibertarianrepublic.com/fbi-back-room-deal-clinton-investigation/#ixzz4EQ3erejU

For you still in the States, does it look like (or feel like) the GOP is rallying around its presumed candidate?

Last week was the RNC it seems with the polls out this week Trump did unite the Republican party. The #Nevertrump elites got crushed.
Today was the start of the DNC and the Democratic party have been eating their own all day. Every time hillarys name is brought up she is BOOOOD by the Bernie delegates and some of the speakers are just walking off the stage. The Chairmen of the convention was booood off the podium by her own state delegates at their breakfast meeting, She also resigned as chairmen today.
Glad I stocked up on popcorn and beer the last few weeks have been so much fun.
