You could use an online notary, most places will accept that.

For a power of attorney that is issued abroad to be recognized as valid in the US, it must be signed in the presence of a notarizing official at a United States embassy or consulate. I spoke to my friend at immigracion, and he said that there is no other way. Good Luck

You could use an online notary, most places will accept that. actually i tried that when i sold my office.... title company wouldnt accept it.... had to be live signature.... in person..... but for his situation.... it might work.... i know their was a company here that was working on having a american notary in colombia... so you didnt have to go to the embassy....

Joe
If you get it notarized here in Colombia I know a lawyer who will Apostilize it here in Manizales
Apostled document would be legal in US
Wiĺl.probably have to get it translated in both languages by an official translator, which would be cheap, if you can find one in Manizales.
PM me if you want the name of the lawyer.
