In Australia they aren't recommending people under the age of 50 to take the Astrazeneca vaccine. They are recommending the Pfizer vaccine. Johnson and Johnson vaccine not an option.

for a few blood clots? wowww I guess there is 1 young woman just just died with several others hospitalized. Unfortunately these women are in the age range that they had virtually no chance of having a serious case of covid. I just heard the oldest case of clots so far was 43 years old.

Maybe rushing the vaccine out without the proper testing was a mistake. We got our shots several weeks ago (Pfizer), without any side effects. 2nd shot on 26th of this month.
Anybody else on the forum had their Covid vaccinations yet ??

There was proper testing, albeit it happened way faster than ever before. That was the idea. You've been watching CNN? Anyway, 7 million vaccines injected, 6 cases of blood clots. One in a million chance. Meanwhile people who get COVID, are way more likely than that to get blood clots from the virus itself. Pick your poison. I'm glad I've been vaccinated.

People have even worse gross over exageration of risks for the vaccine as they do for virus itself.
One or 2 deaths and a few cases of blood clots out of several million shots?
Your chance of being hit by lightning or a falling satelite is much higher.
I highly doubt the risk of death from COVID for people under 40 , though low, is in the same ball park statistically.
This is another of the press and medical establishment scaring the general population with hysteria.
As far as the Sinovac vaccine, it apears to be very ineffective, maybe even less than 50% , as per trails in Brazil and Chile and actual case and death data in Chile , which has been highly vaccinated with Sinovac
Another point. Did you know they developed a vaccine for the Hong Kong flu in 4 months back in the 60s? It worked and supossedly ended that smaller"epidemic".

In Australia they recommend people hide in their closets for the rest lf their lives.. Looks to me like Australia has suddenly transformed into an island of " Sheilas". I know I know nobodies grandma died 4 months early
