yup! Felt it out here on the farm too. One big shake, and then the lamp on my desk just kept shaking ever so slightly for about a minute.

Hmmmph! The USGS map shows a 4.4 at the southern tip of Mexico and a bunch of smaller ones near Puerto Rico/Dominican Republic. There was a 4.9 out in the Mid Atlantic ridge just now also.
Update: They just posted it:

mudd said: They obviously never been to California, more specifically the SF Bay area. Although while I was stationed out at Mare Island for 2 years, the whole time I never felt a tremor but PA had a 3.4 50 miles south of where I lived. Later I was on a service call in San Jose and there was a small 4.2 that rocked for about 15~20 seconds.

mudd said: They obviously never been to CaliforniaObviously! Back in Jan '94, we were living in South Orange County CA when the Northridge quake hit. 6.7. I got up to get the kids, but the house was shaking so bad that I couldn't stand. Finally got everyone to the garage (it was reinforced) just as it stopped. Our place was undamaged due to the reinforcements I'd installed, but our neighbors weren't as lucky. I don't know how hard the quake was in the Med yesterday, but on our farm it was just strong enough that you could feel it. People here don't have a clue what a real earthquake is like. - JAMES

I remember the Northridge quake. The ex used to live in Anaheim and still had friends there telling her about it.
