Colombia has now surpassed the UK in total China Virus cases by almost 1000. Population in the UK is 66 million, in Colombia it's just under 50 million.
The UK has more than 46 million virus deaths, Colombia over 10.000 The peek in Colombia may have to be postponed for next year, unless a miracle happens.

I told you all that this was going to happen why certain people here continues to post worthless nonsense about Medellin being a model for how to combat the virus. When will the people here get a clue Colombia peaked after the Escobar days in the early 2000's now its back to past. You wont even be able to give property away in 2 years

Can you please write your post again CALI , I dont understand it. You mean 46 thousand dreaths, right? What do you mean by "Peek" and how does anybody have any choice in postponing it? Are you talkig about international flights being allowed and the cuarantine ending (restaurants gyms etc.?)? Or peak of the pandemic? Yeah its pretty obvious to everyone that it is going to be rough for a while. But airlines are still selling International tickets to people to and from Colombia starting Sept. 1. Personally, I think it is a scam to get money to delay chapter 11, but who knows?

You are preaching to the choir. Flogging a dead horse. Over and over and over. Premonition was just playing you when he was arguing about how bad Jersey was. You take everythig so seriously. Maybe Scumbuster posted something from Bogota News or Colombia reports a long time ago, but he just posts all kinds of garbage . He doesnt take any ownereship. He doesnt even live in Colombia.

Yeah I meant 46 thousand deaths in the UK of course, sorry about that. And by peak I meant what Elex calls the plateau, when infections have reached their highest point and slowly start to decrease.
I thought as long as young Colombians keep on partying without a mask or distancing we wont see a plateau for quite a while. I also noticed city buses are really full these days. Forget about distancing in these buses.

That just means Colombia will hit herd immunity before others.. I keep reading immunity from the virus is only temporary, like no more than for a few months.

That just means Colombia will hit herd immunity before others.. Do you really believe that "Herd" mentality tinfoil hat crap Scum? The highest theoretical infection rate ofany city or country in the world, even multiplying Confirmed cases by a factor of 10 to 20 (depending on what percent of population hs been tested) is around 10 to 14% in NYC and some European principalities. Just look at the stats and do the math. Besides that , there is no guarantee that "Immunity" would last more than a year. I think the virus will just weaken and/or go away before heard immunity is reached. Colombia has a Long, long way to go-a couple years- before heard immunity would be theoretically reached, and not as long, but still a long way to go before the virus is "under control" by other methods

Forget about distancing in these buses. -And people who are moving in with thier extended family because they cant pay the rent -And people working in the streets selling stuff, in construction, factories, in Peluquerías, in small neighbour hood barrio tiendas who dont social distance and are slack with proper use of tapabocas who get COVID and pass it on to extended families referenced above (including the abuelas) -And people going to overcrowded roads and trails to walk or ride their bike during exercise periods -And people lining up at EPSs, to pay servicios, to send or collect giros, to get paquetes de datos at the Claro office because they dont have CCs or a bank acount and cant (isnt set up in Colombia) or dont know how or dont trust making these payments or apointments online -and people in estrato 1 to 4 barrios who dont take things seriously and chat and socialize with the neighbours Yadda, yadda yadda. Same situation in all of Latin America- and all things which are a lot easier to avoid in North America, espescially in less densely populated and more afluent areas
