Hostal Puerto Madero is a quaint little hotel in a quiet back street behind MacDonalds. It's really just a big old house. Rustic but warm and inviting. Cost is 80 mil for the room for the night. There is only 5 or 6 rooms but it has always had a room available when we needed it. We are not far from Chia but sometimes we need to visit Chia for medical reasons....sometimes for pre-breakfast blood tests. Rather than get up at sparrow fart and race up and over the mountain we head into Chia the previous afternoon, do some shopping and eat out at one of the very fine restaurants, sleep in the comfort of our home away from home and get a good night's rest before walking to Clinicasanitas for our medical appointments and then enjoy a nice breakfast at our favourite artisan panaderia before hitting Homecenter or Centro Chia for more shopping before the relaxed and leisurely drive home.

This is an other hotel owned by the same family and also in Chia. This one is a bit more up market and a little bit more expensive at approx. 150 mil for a night.
