The caveat for ex-pats here is their passport from their native country----- For when life's exasperation or politics surfaces above one's horizon--- one has the the ability to return to their 1st world country---
If after doing so--might then analogize the reasoning for going to a 3rd world country in the first place-- One primary example--eventually their good looking b**** will become older and more bitchier --- the same as the b**** one originally left back home in the first place--

Women of a certain age, are, by far, worse than any man when it comes to jumping the line in Colombia. Things arent Black and white . The rules say people over 60 have preferencial treatment in líne ups.But still, when some guy or gal who is maybe 3 years oolder than me ( but looks 20 or 30 years older because they neglected and abused thier body thier whole life), I tell them I could be 90 with a colonostomy bag and I would still be too.proud to.lower my.level.of civility and butt in líne.Rules or no rules. Well its better than in Russia, where they will push you out of their way into a Snow bank.Or throw your pasaport into the Snow at the helipad. All happened to.me.

Currently we have to pay our rent monthly via a "carta de recaudo" of the real estate broker. Is a Bancolombia card (also my bank). Impossible to arrange an online payment to their account. The procedure is the following: 1. withdraw cash from the Bancolombia ATM with my own Bancolombia debit card. More than 4 times due its ridiculously low amounts of limits 2. deposit the cash in the Recaudo Bancolombia ATM with the recaudo Bancolombia card of the real estate agent, in cash, just next to it!!! 3. Lost charges 4 times on withdrawing 4. Lost charges on depositing 5. Lost loads of time in two queues 6. The real estate agent calls 10 days AFTER we deposited to say we didn´t pay, probably a way to hide they can´t see it theirselves in this system I checked a few times with Bancolombia and the employee keeps saying its impossible to do otherwhise and can´t figure it out myself, although it seems everybody is doing it. This must be the most insane transaction I have ever seen. I pay bills using the Bancolombia Facturanet and doing immediate transfer to a realtor, colegio and EMI medical using my Bancolombia account. It saves me a lot of time, but sometimes I catch my wife doing it the old-fashioned way. Some habits are hard to break. Our realtor does not allow a wire transfer or facturanet to their account, only with their Bancolombia recaudo card they gave to use, which we have to put in an ATM in order to depose the cash. Anyway i fully agree on the habits to break with the wife in terms of wanting to do "vueltas" with me!!

Not sure, but i would think if all goes electronically they would have less risk for stealing cash. With my business account it is even more complicated, for each incoming payment from a client I have to provide a contract, in advance. Obviously which client will provide a contract for a loose assignment...?? Then it takes ages for them to translate. Therefore i am still bound to invoice most of the small business on "independent basis", i.e regimen simplificado. Government could collect much more taxable funds if they would rethink international banking business..

The secret here is to send one's Colombia wife /girlfriend and let her stand in line -- while one relaxes with a beer and dreams of one's next deer hunt

I wonder what you did or said to provoke them into acting that way.
